It's been the longest winter
without you This is Cozmiah, for  's contest.So I decided to draw Cozmiah as Persephone from greek mythology. Except, I didn't really know how to turn Coz INTO her. So I didn't XD For those who don't know: Persephone was the daughter of Demeter and Zeus and was abducted by Hades. Demeter was devestated and Zeus forced Hades to return Persephone, except.. he tricked her into eating pomgranate seeds. If you eat anything in the underworld, you HAVE to go back again. So Persephone spend half of the year with Demeter, bringing spring and summer to earth, and half a year with Hades, which means it's autumn and winter here. Anyway, it's Cozmiah returning from the underworld, thus bringing spring with her. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. It's a really good way of portraying Persephone - very creative
The one teeny tiny detail that bugs me a little is the clouds by Cozmiah's head...they kind of get cut off...y'know what i mean? haha
Apart from that tiny thing, it's amaazing!
